The distinction
Cookies are small pieces of information that a website may ask a browser to retain or send with requests. Local Storage is browser storage that ordinarily stays on the device and is not sent automatically with each request. Server-side connection logs are separate from both.
Theme preference
The 3000Host website uses browser Local Storage to remember whether the visitor selected the dark or light appearance. This preference is functional and is not used by itself to identify the visitor or conduct behavioural advertising. The site is usable if this preference cannot be saved.
Necessary technical records
Web servers and security systems may temporarily process IP addresses, request times, user agents and similar technical details to deliver pages, prevent abuse and investigate incidents. These are described in the Privacy and Data Retention policies. Authentication systems on separate customer services may use their own essential session mechanisms and notices.
Non-essential tracking
The current public marketing pages are not intended to activate advertising or behavioural analytics cookies by default. If non-essential tracking is introduced, it must be documented here and blocked until any consent required by applicable law has been obtained. We will not treat continued browsing as a substitute for a legally required explicit consent.
Browser controls
You may clear this site’s Local Storage and cookies using browser settings. Clearing the theme preference restores the default appearance. Some essential authentication or protection features in separately operated customer systems may stop working when their required browser storage is disabled.
External destinations
Links to separate customer panels, Webmail or third-party websites may lead to services with their own cookies and privacy notices. Their practices are not automatically covered by this marketing-site notice.
Changes to the notice
We will update the description and any required consent controls before adding a new category of non-essential storage or tracking. The version and effective date at the top of this page identify the published notice.
